"Forever" is not a exactly what we could call a first glimpse of the eagerly awaited second LETHE album. This astoundingly good song is just a little pleasure, generously offered by the magical duo formed by Anna Murphy (ELUVEITIE) and Tor-Helge Skei (MANES, MANII). A short moment of pure genius containing all the precious elements which have forged this unique and exceptional self-identified style and very specific self-created approach, dedicated to anyone who enjoys fresh music and experimental Artists.
Both Rock and Electronic, Metal and deeply atmospheric, LETHE is "a band that will change your way of thinking about music and how it should be made and listened to" (Absolute Zero Media).
Tor-Helge Skei explains : "while working on the new album, we made tons and tons of material, countless ideas and sketches and recordings, some of which didn't fit into the album concept.. instead of throwing these away, we wanted to show you some different sides of LETHE.. so, here's the first one.. close your eyes, open your mind, and let the music take you on a musical journey through different moods and states. to places you might not even know existed.."
The enigmatic "Forever" artwork was craftred by reknown Artist Costin Chioreanu (ARCTURUS, MAYHEM, etc.).

Love the dark soundscapes and myriad musical influences. Genre-bending and emotionally charged, this is one of my favourite albums. Laure's vocals are otherworldly 🖤 skog heksa
Lethe is one of the most exciting discovery I made browsing Bandcamp's Black Metal selection. It's difficult to describe their music without using bullshit adjectives like "Ambiant" / "Post Black Metal" / "Depressing Black Metal"... The truth is just that Lethe sounds truely unique. If you love the most progressive works of Manes, Blueneck, Ulver and other really creative black metal bands, you'll definitely love Lethe. SokK
A ferocious display of blackened stoner-doom from Moscow's Moanhand, who offsets moments of bleak ugliness with clean, haunting melody. Bandcamp New & Notable Jun 23, 2021
Swirling guitars, furious drums, vocals that at the same time howl from infinite distance and are right up in your head; everything put into dissonant form with the help of unconventional songwriting. This album is my personal key to the icelanding black metal madness that I've ignored for way too long! Lukas Kaufmann
