Ulven Nz177 A lot less chaotic than Omen with more of an emphasis on atmosphere while still maintaining the off kilter approach that made Omen so great and it pays off big. Great record!

mathalamue Writhes In The Murk has a wall of noise quality to it, but it's less static and more slime. When teased apart there are familiar elements like groove, blasting, ambience etc., but this is not to say it is standard by any means. On the contrary, it is very experimental in both sounds used and arrangement. But the biggest strength of the album is the way everything is melded together into a single, blasphemous, chaotic mass. Favorite track: Præternigma.

Choco Latte There's a lot lurking underneath the surface of this very dark album. It's ominous and claustrophobic. Killer.

Researched Icelandic bands before being able to visit the country in 2019 and found primarily Misþyrming!!!! They reignited and intensified an existing ( and somewhat on the back burner at the time ) love of heavy music. Even listened on the flight there!
