dodk I have developed a real obsession for this project, the atmosphere is incredible, chaotic, of a majestic dissonance. The guitars seem to cry in frightening pain. Everything is terribly intense and perfect. Each listening is a real journey into dizzying depths that I can hardly describe. "Clandestine Sacrament" is so underrated in my opinion. In keeping with a singular modus operandi, this alchemical creation revels in catharsis through hauntology: sickeningly uncanny extremity built upon sublimated beauty, chaos, dissonance and an ever-present, near-palpable, almost overwhelming sense of existential desperation.

DEATH FETISHIST enmesh cascades of swirling, alienating phrases inside claustrophobic song-craft to inspire grim hypnosis.

Guesting vocalists D.G. (MISþYRMING) and Doug Moore (PYRRHON) bring immense guttural and lyrical power, hammering home the violence of self-preservation. Synth orchestration of twisted profundity is provided by Jürgen Bartsch (BETHLEHEM) and Mories (GNAW THEIR TONGUES).

DEATH FETISHIST meld the spirit of USBM pioneers and the vivacious Icelandic scene with raw, punk-infused death metal, dark ambient, ecstatic noise and equal measures of Pornography, Mort and In the Nightside Eclipse...

PSA: if there was an album you heard a couple years ago and thought it was ok, listen to it again and you might love it. That's what happened to me with this album. I cannot fathom why it didn't stick with me back then. Same thing happened with Decoherence's Unitarity for that matter. Matten
